● 5과: My Dream Trip

 

The Night Before the Trip

 

★ My dream is to become a cook.

Tomorrow, I am going to visit Thailand 

with my cousin and learn about Thai food.

★ I am very excited about this trip.

 

여행가기 전날 밤

나의 꿈은 요리사가 되는 거야.

내일, 나는 내 사촌과 태국을 방문해서 

태국 음식에 대해 배울 거야.

나는 이번 여행에 대해 너무 기대돼.

 

Bangkok

At last, we arrived in Bangkok.

We first checked in at a guesthouse 

on Khaosan Road and went to the Grand Palace.

The palace was very beautiful 

with many colorful buildings.

The next day, 

I attended a Thai cooking class for travelers.

First, we went to a local market 

and learned about Thai fruits and vegetables.

I made som tam, spring rolls 

and green curry in class.

 

The chef said to me, "Good job!

You are going to become a great cook!"

★ I was very proud of myself.

 

 

 

방콕

마침내, 우리는 방콕에 도착했어.

우리는 카오산 로드에 있는 게스트하우스에 

체크인을 먼저 하고, 대궁전으로 갔어.

궁전은 많은 다채로운 빌딩들로 아름다웠어.

그 다음날, 

나는 여행객을 위한 태국 음식 수업에 참여했어.

첫 번째로, 우리는 지역 시장에 가서, 

태국 과일과 채소에 대해 배웠어.

나는 수업에서 쏨탐(태국식 샐러드), 스프링 롤 

그리고 그린 커리를 만들었어.

 

요리사가 나에게 말했어요. 

당신은 멋진 요리사가 될거예요 라고 

나는 내가 매우 자랑스러웠어.

 

Chiang Mai

After a long bus ride from Bangkok,

we arrived in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai is an exciting city 

with lots of fun activities.

During the day, 

we went hiking and visited hill tribes.

In the evening, 

we tried different street foods.

My favorite street food was pad Thai.

★ I wanted to cook it, 

and a friendly street food chef taught me.

I was so lucky!

I will never forget my time in Thailand.

It truly was my dream trip.

 

치앙마이

방콕에서부터 오랜 시간 버스를 탄 후에, 

우리는 치앙마이에 도착했어.

치앙마이는 많은 재미있는 활동들이 있는 

신나는 도시야.

낮 시간 동안, 우리는 하이킹을 가서

고산족을 방문했어.

저녁에, 

우리는 각종의 길거리 음식들을 먹어보았어.

내가 가장 좋아하는 길거리 음식은 

팟타이(볶음쌀국수)야.

나는 그것을 요리하고 싶었고, 

친절한 길거리음식 요리사가 나에게 가르쳐 줬어.

나는 너무 운이 좋았어.

나는 태국에서의 시간을 잊지 못할 거야.

그건 정말 나의 꿈의 여행이었어.
